MATEC GROUP Achieves EN 1474 Certification for COMPOTEC CRYOTEC LNG Hoses

Milano, Italy – January 16, 2026

MATEC GROUP is proud to announce that it has achieved the EN 1474 Certification, following over two years of rigorous technical and engineering work.

This certification applies to the COMPOTEC CRYOTEC Composite hoses for LNG, designed to meet the highest international standards of safety, reliability, and performance in marine liquefied natural gas transfer at cryogenic temperatures.

The certification was issued in accordance with the standard: “INSTALLATION AND EQUIPMENT FOR LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS – DESIGN AND TESTING OF MARINE TRANSFER SYSTEM – EN 1474 PART 2: DESIGN AND TESTING OF TRANSFER HOSES”.

The Type Approval was granted by Lloyd’s Register, a globally recognized third-party authority, confirming the robustness and excellence of MATEC GROUP’s design, development, and testing processes.
